Dee and Jenifer have done a really good job of speaking with the
Representatives on HB 706. I will leave that in their capable hands and
start working on the helmet Bill on Monday.

HB 727 Helmet Amendment Bill: Author Rep. Chuck Hopson
We have already been told the doctors don’t like the Bill and Senator
Wentworth plans to put a $100,000 insurance amendment on it when it gets
to the Senate.
Guess we’ll find out if one man controls the Senate in the next few months.
Send a letter or postcard to your State Rep and ask them to support HB
727.
Do not speak of both Bills in the same correspondence.
Those Representatives needing special attention are:
Mike Krusee, Larry Phillips, Linda Harper-Brown, Pat Haggerty, Patricia
Harless, Fred Hill, Nathan Macias and Jim Murphy. They are on the
Transportation Committee that will hear the Bill.
Get started right now and get those cards and letters into their offices.
Have postcards and pens at your chapter meetings, Club meetings or what
ever and get those messages sent in.
