HILLARY CLINTON IS ON THE WRONG SIDE OF HISTORY

THE WRONG SIDE OF HISTORY To: bikers@solriders.com

By Pastor Chuck Baldwin

In an attempt to justify massive illegal immigration to this country, SenatorHillary Clinton (D-NY) completely mischaracterized the Biblical story of TheGood Samaritan. Obviously, there is nothing unique about politicians misusingthe Scriptures. What the average politician knows about the Word of God couldfit into a thimble. And that goes for Republicans as well as Democrats!
Specifically, Mrs. Clinton voiced her opposition to a House measure subjectingillegal aliens and those who hire them to criminal penalties saying it "is certainly not in keeping with my understanding of the Scriptures, because this bill would literally criminalize the Good Samaritan and probably Jesus Himself." However, there is absolutely nothing about Jesus' parable that remotely relates to the subject of illegal immigration. Absolutely nothing! The story of The Good Samaritan is simply a lesson in Christian compassion. The Good Samaritan was willing to stop and help a man who had been beaten and left for dead. Jesus compared the actions of the Good Samaritan with those of a priest and a Levite who walked by the dying man and refused to help. What in the world does that have to do with illegal immigration? Nothing! However, if one wants to examine the Scriptures to find teachings relevant to the subject of illegal immigration, he can certainly do so.
Let's start with Nahum chapter three. The prophet Nahum warned Israel that their stubbornness and disobedience to God was evidenced by the fact that "the gates (borders, ports, entry ways) of thy land shall be set wide open unto thine enemies: the fire shall devour thy bars." (Nahum 3:13) In this passage, the prophet made it clear that open gates or borders, which allowed enemies easy access to a nation, constitute an imminent threat to any nation. How right he was! Furthermore, Moses told the children of Israel in very clear and concise language, "Thou shalt not remove thy neighbor's landmark." (Deut. 19:14) "Landmark" refers to territory, boundary, or border. Moses further declared, "Cursed be he that removeth his neighbor's landmark." (Deut. 27:17)
National borders or boundaries are extremely important to the security and survival of any nation! In fact, the Bible promotes nationhood and condemns internationalism! To theOld Testament nation of Israel, Moses said, "When the Most High divided to the nations their inheritance, when he separated the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of the people." (Deut. 32:8) Notice that God "separated the sons ofAdam." God "set the bounds of the people." That God has separated nations and expects them to function independently of other nations is also seen in the NewTestament. Read the inspired author, Dr. Luke: "And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds (boundaries, borders) of their habitation." (Acts 17:26) National boundaries are divinely ordained.
Nationhood is divinely ordained. Independent governance is divinely ordained. On the other hand, internationalism, globalism, multiculturalism, etc., is not of God. Certainly, God instructed His people to be compassionate to"strangers." (See Deut. 10:19; Exod. 22:21.) And no nation has been more compassionate, more understanding, and more tolerant of "strangers" (i.e. non-citizens) than the United States of America! For the duration of our nation's existence, America has allowed millions of immigrants to become U.S. citizens. However, for the very sake of our country's survival, immigration must be lawful and respectful. The immigrant is expected to obtain citizenship in accordance with our country's laws. Also, the total number of new immigrants must be carefully monitored and regulated in order to maintain the health and stability of our culture and economy. Furthermore, the aspiring immigrant-citizen must be expected to assimilate into the foundational fabricand spirit of America. Listen to the words of President Theodore Roosevelt: "In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the man's becoming in very fact an American, and nothing but an American. There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag. We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language. And we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people." (Jan. 3, 1919)
However, those who advocate amnesty, guest worker status (which is just another name for amnesty), or other types of legalization for illegal aliens are promoting something much different from both the Scriptural and historical models. If the people of the United States allow G. W. Bush and Hillary Clinton to get their way on illegal immigration, America's demise will be faster than anyone can possibly imagine! Already, more than 20 million illegal aliens live in the United States. In fact, according to The Center for Immigration Studies, three-fourths of all U.S. population growth stems from (mostly) illegal immigration. There is more. According to the Bureau of Justice, 29% of allfederal inmates are illegal aliens. And according to statistics provided by the House of Representatives, illegal aliens cost state and local governments more than $13 billion per year. Let's face reality: illegal aliens are criminals! They broke our laws to come here. They break our laws to stay here.
Furthermore, the employers that hire illegal aliens are criminals! Illegal aliens do not save money for Americans; they cost money, and a lot of it! America is a nation of law. The supreme law of the land is the U.S. Constitution. Nowhere does the Constitution allow for illegal aliens. There is nothing in our laws, our history, or our traditions that allows for illegal immigration! Illegal aliens not only trample our nation's laws, weaken our economy, burden our local and state governments, they also spit in the face of those many thousands of honest and honorable people from all over the world who attempt to lawfully immigrate to our country! I have many personal friends who haveeither recently become U.S. citizens or who are yet in the process of becomingU.S. citizens. Each of them is a honest, hard working person who desires to become an AMERICAN. They are not trying to create another Philippines, Japan, South Korea, Zimbabwe, England, or Honduras here in America. They simply want to be an AMERICAN, just like Teddy Roosevelt explained.
Yet, now we are being asked to repudiate our laws, compromise the decency and character of our people, and jeopardize our very security just to allow millions of lawless people to invade our country! I say, NO WAY! Opposing illegal immigration is not un-Christian, and it is not un- American. Neither does opposing illegal immigration make one a racist or a fascist! Hillary Clinton is on the wrongside of Scripture and on the wrong side of American history. So is G. W. Bush and a majority of U.S. Senators! America must secure it's borders! We must make a concerted effort to deport all illegal aliens found to be here. We must severely punish any American company or employer who knowingly hires illegal aliens. Furthermore, we must send a clear and convincing message toMexican President Vicente Fox that if he does not start effectively policing his northern border, we will consider him a terrorist and treat him accordingly! And there is one more thing: we must evict every senator or representative from Washington, D.C., who refuses to protect our nation's borders and who aids and abets illegal immigration in any shape, form, or fashion! And we must do it now!_______________________________________________

Legislative Responses

This is how it is supposed to work. Anytime you correspond with a legislator and get no answer we should know that also.
This is the response Jan received from her Congressman in Odessa. concerning removing the Internet from political restrictions.
Thanks Jan

Subject: From the Desk of Congressman Conaway
Thank you for contacting me about the H.R. 1606: the Online Freedom ofSpeech Act introduced by Rep. Jeb Hensarling (TX-R). I appreciate your interest in the legislative process.
The Online Freedom of Speech Act would exempt Internet communications from regulation under federal campaign finance laws. You will be pleased to know that I support H.R. 1606 and support free political speech on the internet.
If the internet has proven anything, it is that the government does not needto be involved in something for it to be successful. Over the past few years, millions of people have engaged in a level of conversation on political and social issues that has never been seen before. The Internet has motivated individuals and groups of people to be more involved in political discussions.
Web logs (blogs) offer a wealth of opinions that have enhanced political participation. The recent court ruling that demands the FEC regulate online political speech threatens to quash this new form of free speech and gives another opportunity for trial lawyers to make a buck. As a blogger myselfwww.conawayblog.com, I proudly defend the open forum and believe that the government has no place regulating political debate on the Internet.
Again, thank you for contacting me. Your opinions are important to me, so please write, call or email me with any concerns you may have in the future.
For more information on my work in Congress or to send me an electronic message, visit the 11th District's Web site, http://conaway.house.gov .

New Poker Lobby

I have worked with Mike in the past few sessions and he is a standup man.
I have been corresponding with him on this issue for about three months. I am hoping we can combine our goal and their goal in one Bill. Should have something to go with by our state meeting.
The Democrat Convention will be held in Ft. Worth on June 9-10. Our BikerRights Caucus will be held on Friday 9th from 1-3:00pm in room 121-B. We need a really good turnout for this meeting so start making arrangements to get the day off.
I don't know what arrangements have been made for the Republican Convention as none of our Republican Warriors have forwarded any information to me. If this is read by any of you who are attending theRepublican Convention please pass along any information you may have for that convention.

Article Mike Lavigne

Ex-TDP Staffer Heads New Poker Lobby

Mike Lavigne, former Chief of Staff for the Democratic Party of Texas isheading the new Texas Poker PAC, a group hoping to legalize Texas Holdem and other poker games in Texas and have them run similar to charitable bingo games.
And the leader of an anti-gambling organization that has managed to beatback the high rollers who have been pushing for casino-style gambling since 2003 says she hopes the backers of the new poker initiative know when to fold em.
Mike Lavigne, treasurer of the newly formed Texas Poker PAC, said the growing popularity of games like Texas hold em, fueled by televised tournaments, has spawned a cottage industry of underground games that warrants state regulation. By licensing and legalizing venues for such games, he added, the state could reap much-needed revenue. "What we envision is that poker games could be run along the same lines that the state uses for charitable bingo" Lavigne said. "Poker is a multibillion-dollar industry in this country, and it is down right silly that Texans can't benefit from that. Texas charities are losing out on millions of dollars because of our antiquated laws."

Update

We start off the day with some good news. Thanks to the D/FW Fish Fry, TheTexas Independence Day Freedom Rally, The support from the Legion Ridersof Channelview, Membership and other donations this month we are getting back on an even financial footing. This month we have:

Paid the back months on Warrior Printing,
Paid off the credit card,
Paid the past due taxes, interest and penalties for 2004,
Ordered and paid for 300 membership patches and;
paid this month's regular bills. Thanks to everyone who put in so much effort to make this possible.

The Supreme Court ruled on Wednesday that law officers could not enter a home when one resident says yes and the other says no. To do so they must have a search warrant or witness visible signs of physical abuse. They finally seem to have gotten something right.

You are probably aware of the big push to arrest patrons of bars for public intoxication with the excuse they are stopping them from driving while intoxicated. This explanation simply does not hold water in the opinion of this old man. What ever happened to the big push for a designated driver? There is no requirement that you receive a breath or blood test in the case of a P.I. charge. It is your word against the officer and you well know whose word stands up in court.
This is simply about money. A $500 fine for the Public Intoxication charge is a boon to officers who just sit around and decide for themselves who to arrest. One would think that the bar owners would be screaming to high heaven and filing lawsuits right and left. To the best of my knowledge that has not happened and you may be thinking as you read this that this is not anything we need to be dealing with. I don't go to bars and drink so like so many issues we have addressed and corrected in the past it doesn't affect me personally.
My concern has nothing to do with just being arrested in bars. Anyone reading this realizes that bikers are the most targeted group for police observation. It is not uncommon to have law enforcement officers congregate at the entrance to a Rally and harass those attending theRally. Consider this scenario. You are hosting a Rally and even if you arenot actually selling beer or liquor they have undercover cops register to come in and start busting anyone they consider to have had too much to drink. Unless you have been living in a different world than I you know this is a possibility if not a probability if it is allowed to go uncontested.

If you have the same concerns as I about this being as bad a situation as passage of the Patriot Act then it would be well to begin a dialogue with your state legislators and candidates for these offices now. I most certainly will address the issue with my Senator and Rep. I shall also be talking with all of them during the upcoming special session on education financing. If you don't agree this could be a problem then just do nothing and we shall see who was right.

State Meeting

To all Warriors;
Our State Meeting will be hosted by the Hood County Blues Chapter duringthe third weekend of May. Your Chairman inadvertently failed to read the Flyer which stated there would be a Wet-Tshirt- Contest at the event.
This is something that has never been done at a State Meeting before. Of course all Chapters always hosted an Event during the State Meeting and we did make money that weekend. This will be our only chance to discuss the upcoming State Conventions and it is important that everyone who possibly can be in attendance.

Our State Officers believe this contest should go on as advertised so it will go on as scheduled but your Chairman will offer a change to our By-Laws saying:
"The State meeting will be hosted by the State Officers. The chair will host an Auction and each District Advisor will work with the Warriors in their district to host an event. There will be a dance held at each State Meeting on Saturday night."
During this meeting there will be a hand made Mosaic coffee table created especially for the Association raffled off. Winning ticket will be drawn immediately following the General Membership Meeting. It is a beauty, sodon't miss out on a chance to win.

A great Article

How to create conflict
WALTER WILLIAMS
By Walter E. Williams
March 6, 2006

High on my list of annoyances are references to the United States as ademocracy and the suggestion Iraq should become a democracy. The word"democracy" appears in neither of our Founding documents -- theDeclaration of Independence nor the U.S. Constitution.

Our nation's Founders disdained democracy and majority rule. JamesMadison, in Federalist Paper No. 10, said in a pure democracy, "there is nothing to check the inducement to sacrifice the weaker party or the obnoxious individual." During the 1787 Constitutional Convention, Edmund Randolph said, "In tracing these evils to their origin everyman had found it in the turbulence and follies of democracy."

John Adams said: "Remember, democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There was never a democracy yet that did not commit suicide." Chief Justice John Marshall added,"Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos."

The Founders knew a democracy would recreate the tyranny suffered under King George III. Their vision was a republic.

But let's cut to Iraq and President Bush's call for it to become a democracy. I can't think of a worse place to have a democracy -- majority rule. Iraq needs a republic like that envisioned by ourFounders -- decentralized and limited government power.

In a republican government, there is rule of law. All citizens, including government officials, are accountable to the same laws. Government intervenes in civil society to protect its citizens against force and fraud but does not intervene in peaceable, voluntary exchanges.

Democracy, what the Bush administration urges, is different. In a democracy, the majority rules either directly or through its elected representatives. The law is whatever the government determines it to be. Laws aren't necessarily based upon reason but power. In otherwords, democracy is just another form of tyranny -- tyranny of the majority.

In Iraq, Arabs are about 75 percent of the population, Kurds about 20 percent and Turkomen and Assyrians the balance. Religiously, Shi'itesare about 60 percent of the population, Sunni 35 percent with Christian and other religions making up the balance. If a majority-rule democracy emerges, given the long standing hatred and distrust among ethnic/religious groups, it's a recipe for conflict.

The reason is quite simple: Majority rule is a zero-sum game with winners and losers. Winners can impose their will on the minority. Conflict emerges when the minority resists.

The ideal political model for Iraq is Switzerland's cantonal system. Historically, Switzerland, unlike most European countries, was made up of several different major ethnic groups -- Germans, French, Italians and Rhaeto-Romansch. Over the centuries, conflicts have a risen between these groups, who differ in language, religion (Catholic andProtestant) and culture. The resolution was to allow the warring groups to govern themselves.

Switzerland has 26 cantons. The cantons are divided into about 3,000 communes. Switzerland's federal government controls only those interests common to all cantons -- national defense, foreign policy, railways and the like. All other matters are controlled by the individual cantons and communes. The Swiss cantonal system enables people of different ethnicity, language, culture and religion to live at peace with one another. As such, Switzerland's political system is well suited to an ethnically and religiously divided country such as Iraq.

By the way, for President Bush and others who insist on calling our country a democracy, should we change our pledge of allegiance to say"to the democracy, for which it stands," and should we change the name of "The Battle Hymn of the Republic" to "The Battle Hymn of theDemocracy"?

Texas Independence Day Rally Report

The Texas Independence Day – Freedom Rally, hosted by Lost Prairie Cycles & www.LPCycles.com was a really successful event. Thanks to all those who worked so hard especially Tom, Shari and Terri, for putting TMRA 2 back on it’s feet. A real special thanks to Cricket for working long hard hours at the Registration table. She did an excellent job as usual.
Our Sponsors for the Event were ; www.LPCycles.com, Poor Urban Bikers, Clubhouse Magazine, Concho Valley Chapter of the Cossacks M/C, Born Again M/M, Southern Cruisers Riding Club and Bob Gammage. Also we received sponsorship from Texas ABATE Confederation, Big Dog Ice House, Skunk Dots, Nichols Plumbing, Leggett Cycles, Third Coast Cruisers Riding Club, Babe Johnson insurance and Good Ol Boys Cookin’. Good Ol Boys Cookin’. The crew from Good Ol Boys Cookin’ wished to let everyone know they appreciated the way they were treated by the attendees. They donated another $300 before they left the ranch.

Friday nights kick off was beer drinkin, titty flashin, tire kickin’ & a bull shootin’ good time. Max & The Max Attack entertained the troops later in to the night. Saturday morning we all hit the ground running at the crack of dawn and ran until way into the night.
The Poker Run started at 9:00am with last bike out at 11:00. Last bike in was at 2:00pm. Then the fun began. Sputnik sponsored the first ever Run – N – Gun Poker Run in Texas. There were four targets set up on a shooting range in the middle of the ranch with each having a full deck of cards stapled face up. Each target had the cards placed in identical positions. After explaining the rules four participants at a time were called to the firing line. Each was given identical pistols and allowed to fire seven shots at their target. They could then choose their five card hand from the cards hit. Of course this is Texas so there was a 12 way tie for first place. Twelve Royal Flushes!!!
There was a one shot tie breaker and first and second place formed an 8. Everyone really enjoyed the event but next time they will each use their own pistols.
After the Bike Show and Field Events were over the Trophies were awarded.

TMRA 2 has an Award in honor of our previous State Secretary, Cyndi Calhoun who died from Cancer. Cyndi gave up everything and dedicated herself to biker’s rights. The trophy is called the “Angel Warrior” Award. When Cyndi passed on she was cremated and part of her ashes are inside the loving cup that sits on the base. The Award goes to the District Advisor who has promoted TMRA 2 the best during the past year. Mike Alvey and Del Essary are the previous winners. This year it went to Darilyn McClure District Advisor for District 25.

Saturday evenings entertainment started off at dusk with Janet Z and what a start it was. This vivacious little gal pours her soul into each song and her performance is mesmerizing. Most of her songs are written by her but when she does one that was recorded by someone else it sounds as good or better than the original.

Next up was Hard Times Truckin’ and again it was kick ass. Then the Naughty Nightie contest and the wet Tee shirt contest took center stage and I am told that was some fine entertainment. Sitting out and the gate you can hear the music but can’t see what is on stage. The night was closed out by Blind Dog Cooley with more top notch music. Finally about 3:00am it all came to a close.
Sunday morning The Circuit Riders Motorcycle Ministry did their usual great job of bringing the true message of God to those who attended the service. We are deeply in their debt for such exciting services at our events. However the Rally is not over. That morning Tom and I were discussing how to make the next one better. Mark your calendar for next years Texas Independence Day Freedom Rally. Same time, same place. Just a plain Ol fun time Rally but the information shared will help everyone fix a problem should they encounter the same problem.
Again thanks to all our sponsors and those who attended. And a very Special thanks to Tom at Lost Prairie Cycles for the idea, to Shari & Terri for helping put it together and To Cricket for the outstanding work she did with keeping everything at the gate running smoothly.
We would be remiss if we didn’t give some praise to Jerry Willis of Mexia. Our original DJ didn’t show but Tom called Mr. Willis who was there in 30 minutes to fill in with fine music. Thanks Jerry for bailing us out on such short notice.
All Bills aren’t paid yet but it appears that TMRA 2 will realize around $12,000 from the Rally.
