Legislative Update

Just received this note from Kanga.
Hey there. Wanted to let you know that the Cherokee Wind Warriors have successfully gotten the City of Jacksonville to erect 12 signs (1 may be pending, but they started out with just a couple back before Thanksgiving)! I saw them last night at the viewing for my dear sister, Sharon Johnston, and they asked if I had officially reported it---I had to say no. So now I am reporting it officially!
Buttershot and his team are in the loop for 24 Share the Road signs here in Tyler and the council will vote on them sometime in February. The Tyler council had a map on the wall with major motorcycle accidents noted and said they wanted to pick th spots. I told Shot---"Wow! Cool! They did their homework."
We should give them a note in the newspaper for a good job done well after the signs are up!
I am going to have to miss the COC meeting on the 7th here in Tyler. I was going to do some serious campaigning there, but have a list of things to accomplish a mile long. Roo has a swap meet in Dallas, we still have to have Christmas wit his children there and I have the job from hell that has a few hours of work to finish, so I caved in and decided I can't get out of all of them! Damn, Damn!
Just haven't figured how to be in two places at the same time yet but I am sure if I figure it out you would want to know how! We have our rooms and there is a lot of energy this year about Austin. Hope weather doesn't put a damper on it!
The meeting
on the 7th should have a good bit of momentum.
