DFW Region Action & Support Needed

Tuesday, October 11th, 2011
Attention All DFW Region Members and All Other Concerned Bikers;
WE NEED YOUR HELP!

I want to thank all the bikers that went to the Johnson County Court House last Friday.

The defense is trying to plea bargain but so far the DA Office has not given in.
Our many trips to the D.A.’s Office has paid off so far, but we need more help after last Friday’s Hearing.
We need everyone that can help us out with phone calls, emails, fax’s and letters to give support and bring justice. If you are not familiar with this case, Jeremy Ives a 3 time tour and disabled Veteran from the Gulf War came home to be run over and killed on his motorcycle. Keith Myron Grant ran down Jeremy and then left him on the side of the road to die. Did Not Stop, Did Not Make a Phone Call, Did Not Do A DAMN THING!!! Mr. Grant has 2 prior convictions and has shown no remorse for leaving the accident scene and not stopping to help a fallen hero that he ran over and killed. Jeremy served his county to protect the very freedoms Mr. Grant is on record for abusing.

Information Below for Sending Letters, Emails, Phone Calls and Fax’s to give support for trial
and not plea away Jeremy’s Last Rights.

Sample Letter To the D.A.’s Office

To The Honorable Dale Hanna
Johnson County District Attorney

I am writing this letter in concern of a possible plea bargain in the case of Keith Myron Grant in the wrongful death of Jeremy Ives. When Mr. Grant made the decision to leave the accident scene and not attempt to give any kind of assistance or attempt to get help for Jeremy he decided his own fate. Mr. Grant chose to ignore the man that was laying there dying on streets of Cleburne that night and the community should have its day in court to decide the fate of those that have no concern for the lives in this community.

Please Consider Jeremy’s Family and Friends,
Jeremy was a Disabled Vet, served 3 tours in the Gulf and Loved This County.
Thank You,

The Honorable Dale Hanna Johnson County District Attorney currently has a case involving the wrongful death of Johnson County Resident Jeremy Ives.
Jeremy served 3 tours in the Gulf were he was disabled. Jeremy was hit on his motorcycle on his way home and died on the street in Cleburne. The man that hit and ran was later arrested and charged. Currently Keith Myron Grant is charged with Jeremy’s Death and is seeking a plea bargain after leaving the accident without trying to stop and help. I am one of many concerned about plea deals that leave the family and friends without closure and let these kind of people walk free in our communities.

Thank You for your time and
I hope your News Paper will look further into this story
Sincerely,
