Texas Bikers and Freedom Fighters,
The 82nd Legislature of Texas has convened and we need All motorcyclists to join the Texas Motorcycle Rights Association, US Defenders/COIR and the Texas Confederation of Clubs and Independents to ride with us on January 24th to our State Capitol.
This history making event will confirm to our elected officials that Texas Motorcyclists are serious about protecting our civil liberties and that our presence there assures that we will continue to have a very loud voice concerning our affairs.
As you are very much aware, we are in a politically charged environment with many important issues to be legislated by our Representatives; intelligence gathering on non-criminal taxpaying citizens, government interference regarding our Right to Repair our vehicles where and with whom we want to, motorcycle awareness and safety on our roadways are just a few issues facing us this session. Keep a lid on SB 1967! This Highway Safety bill is working in Texas with accidents and fatalities significantly down. We do not want to reopen this bill!
We need 10,000 bikers at the Capitol! They know we are coming, they know we are voters, and they know we are organized and capable of implementing positive changes using our Legislative process. They work for us, and it is our responsibility to remind them respectfully on this very important day that …”THIS IS OUR HOUSE” and Texas Bikers can let them keep their positions or have them removed from office at the next
election.
Please join us for an opportunity to exercise your freedom to speak, your freedom to assemble, and your freedom to ride with whomever you want on January 24th,2011! This is your chance to meet your elected officials, and get to know who represents you , and who has your best interests in their hands. They work for you!
Meet and greet your fellow bikers at the TCOC&I meeting on Sunday at 1pm, VFW Post 8787 in Austin. Be ready to ride to the Capitol on Monday 9am.
